traffic joins the Think Green Alliance community

01 June 2009

In honour of Canadian Environment Week traffic is proud to announce that it has joined Think Green Alliance.

The Think Green Alliance is a community of businesses and organizations that are committed to providing environmentally and economically sustainable services, products and goods. The Alliance membership represents over 159.7 billion dollars of annual global revenues and over 250,000 full-time employees.

The Alliance was founded in March 2008 by Jean Jerome Baudry of Baudry Cybernomics Corporation.

The Think Green Alliance’s mandate is:

  • To promote and showcase environmentally and financially sustainable services, products, goods and resources
  • To provide educational materials and resources for businesses that are looking to become more environmentally friendly
  • Promote co-marketing between the partners for their sustainable services, products and goods
  • Develop a green business community through events, joint projects and marketing initiatives

Canadian Environment Week takes place the first week of June to coincide with World Environment Day. Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972, World Environment Day is celebrated each year on June 5 to help raise global awareness of environmental issues.

"What a perfect time to join the Think Green Alliance", says Bernard Hellen, R.G.D., President + Creative Director of traffic. “Our membership in this community demonstrates traffic's commitment to make the world a better place."
